| SIB's
Majors and Its International Split Programs |
| |
|
Taking
experiences of top universities both home and abroad as reference,
School of International Business (SIB) aims to make the best
use of its advantages in facilities and resources to cultivate
professionals with global outlook. Under the authority of
Educational Department of Liaoning Province, three majors
at SIB will be open to Dongbei University of Finance and Economics
(DUFE) freshmen in September, 2004: Accounting, Finance, and
Business Administration. Basing on the existed discipline
advantages of DUFE, those majors are set live up to the international
standards, which can be shown in its teaching process in which
original overseas textbooks are used, courses are given in
foreign languages, as well as most core courses are delivered
by foreign teachers. In September, 2004, SIB will apply readmission
in both three majors and its split programs with overseas
universities. In this readmission, students are eligible to
apply for majors and cooperative programs available at SIB
only after they have been accepted as freshmen of DUFE. Candidates
are expected to take language exams (in oral and written forms)
organized by the School and are selected according to their
scores and comprehensive quality.
